After a mixed season opener in Maribor, Kevin found the right setup and won with a clear lead over Constantin Rütsch (SUI, + 1.7s.) And Brage Evensen Vestavik (NOR, +4.8s.).
The conditions were anything but easy, because the track was extremely slippery with heavy rain showers and deep mud. But difficult conditions in particular place high demands on the physique of the drivers and here Kevin was able to fully exploit his extraordinary fitness and body control. 
This is the first time Kevin has inscribed himself in the history books of the IXS Downhill Cup, as it looks probably not the last time.
