The TWO-FACE composite is an extremely powerful flat pedal and an efficient clip pedal at the same time. 10 pins with targeted elevation provide enormous grip, but on the clip side, large contact areas create a particularly solid connection between pedal and shoe. For optimized ground clearance, the flat side is rotated 2.5° towards the clip side, increasing ground clearance by 5mm at critical points.
A defined side selection is especially important with a combination pedal. With the TWO-FACE, the side remains after unloading, so that the same side/function is available again upon the next step.
Through the selection of high-quality materials and manufacturing processes, the TWO-FACE composite is extremely durable.

The TWO-FACE Composite is an extremely powerful flat pedal and an efficient clip-in pedal at the same time.
On the flat side, 10 pins with targeted elevation provide enormous grip, but on the clip-in side, large contact areas create a particularly solid connection between pedal and shoe.
For optimized ground clearance, the flat side is rotated 2.5° relative to the clip-in side, increasing ground clearance by 5mm at critical points.
A defined side selection is especially important for a combination pedal. With the TWO-FACE, the side remains active for a few seconds after unloading, so the same side/function is available again upon re-engagement.

What applications is the TWO-FACE composite suitable for?
The pedal can be used very universally on the mountain bike:

What shoe size is the pedal suitable for?
Due to the large platform, the pedal is ideally suited for shoe sizes 41-47.
For shoe sizes <41, we recommend the CONTACT COMBI.
Can I also use cleats from other manufacturers with TATZE pedals?
Our pedals with bindings come with a specially tuned cleat, for which we guarantee the function. Cleats from other manufacturers may also work, but in this case, we recommend first clipping in and out of the cleat while stationary and in a safe environment (e.g., traffic-free zone) to check the function. Using cleats from other manufacturers in combination with TATZE pedals is at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the function.
Can I adjust or optimize the function of the binding?
Yes, that is possible.
Our pedals feature a binding with adjustable release tension. Turning the adjustment screw clockwise makes clipping in and out firmer. Turning it counterclockwise makes the binding release more easily.
A tip: Occasionally spray the binding with some chain oil. This keeps the metal parts moving smoothly, making clipping in and out effortless and fluid.
