In 2018, Erich Wieland will mount the TATZE MC-AIR on the downhiller and the TATZE TWO-FACE on the enduro bike!
It all started at Crankworx Innsbruck 2017 when someone took a close look at the prototypes of the MC-AIR Flat- and TWO-FACE Enduropedal. We talked about the shape of the pedal body, the number and arrangement of the PINs, easy or less easy turning of the pedals, maintenance options and the quality of the milling work - a normal conversation among bike and technology freaks ;-)
Already during this conversation Erich showed that he is not only one of the fastest riders in the Alpine republic, but also a perfect partner for the further development of "TATZEN". When designing pedals, it is our aim to implement innovations in order to become better bikers. It is clear that everyone involved is constantly on the bike, but nothing can replace the experience and input of a top rider. In competitive sports it is ultimately about optimizing many details in order to have the fastest overall package in the end. In order to achieve this, we will provide Erich with the best possible pedals, implement optimizations at short notice and later incorporate them into the series products.
Nevertheless, all the rational reasons for the cooperation cannot hide the actual reason: Erich is an extremely personable and cool guy and the anticipation to see him with our "RACEN" pedals is huge!
In this sense, we are proud to be able to support Erich and wish him a successful and injury-free season and, above all, a lot of fun biking !!!
