The MC-FLY with titanium axle is one of the lightest trail and enduro pedals on the market and offers perfect contact between pedal and shoe with a large contact surface. This connection guarantees maximum control over the bike.
The MC-FLY is SPD-compatible and offers 5° of float, providing enough freedom of movement for an active riding style, and with a release angle of 12°, it allows enough room to always be in control between clipping in and out. Of course, the release tension can also be adjusted and read on the mechanism.
A particularly important feature is the 4 optional pins arranged around the click mechanism. With these pins, the clamping pressure between the shoe and pedal can be adjusted. Do you have too much play? Simply insert the pins and lock them at the height until the clamping pressure fits perfectly.
Durability is promised by the pedal through the use of a wide needle bearing inside and a deep groove ball bearing outside, as well as multiple seals against dirt and moisture.

What shoe size is the pedal suitable for?
Clip pedals can generally cover a wide range of use, and we recommend the MC-FLY for shoe sizes from 36 to 48.
Is there a weight limit
The MC-FLY with a titanium axle is approved for riders up to a maximum of 90kg. Riders over 90kg should choose the MC-FLY with a steel axle.
Can I also use cleats from other manufacturers with TATZE pedals?
Our pedals with bindings come with a specially tuned cleat, for which we guarantee the function. Cleats from other manufacturers may also work, but in this case, we recommend first clipping in and out of the cleat while stationary and in a safe environment (e.g., traffic-free zone) to check the function. Using cleats from other manufacturers in combination with TATZE pedals is at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the function.
Can I adjust or optimize the function of the binding?
Yes, that is possible.
Our pedals feature a binding with adjustable release tension. Turning the adjustment screw clockwise makes clipping in and out firmer. Turning it counterclockwise makes the binding release more easily.
A tip: Occasionally spray the binding with some chain oil. This keeps the metal parts moving smoothly, making clipping in and out effortless and fluid.
